| What
is A Simple Fundraiser?
Simple
Fundraiser is the newest form of fund-raising. We realize
there are hundreds of fund-raising opportunities; from car washes
to magazine drives, and if you are willing to put in the time
and effort, the money is there.
Simple
Fundraiser is an alternative to product sales and golf tournaments.
We contract with local resorts who have an interest in supporting
their community. Through Simple Fundraiser, participating
resorts have contributed millions to support youth and community
organizations in their area. In return, they receive the
opportunity to educate participants on the benefits of vacation
ownership. It is that simple.
Whether
you are raising money to offset your team's travel expenses
or money to build a new ball field, Simple Fundraiser can help
eliminate the need for multiple fundraising efforts, so you
can concentrate on more important things.

Simple Fundraiser works off of cause-related
marketing dollars. Participating resorts divert funds from their
marketing budget to support youth and community programs. Here's
how it works:
Parents,
friends and/or family members schedule to attend an informative 90-minute
vacation ownership sales presentation at any one of our participating
resorts. For each qualified presentation, your organization
receives a minimum of $100 (PLUS
A $25* NABCA BONUS)!Think of
how many boxes of candy bars you would have to sell to raise
that much money!

What is a Qualified Presentation?
Participating
resorts have minimum participation qualifications. In order
to participate, participants must find the resort that best
suits your needs and qualifications. You can learn more about
participating
resorts here.
Is this going to be the same uncomfortable “timeshare”
presentation I attended in Mexico?
Presentations
are designed to educate individuals on the value of vacation
ownership. At the end of the presentation, participants
will be asked if they are interested in the product and/or membership.
There are NO headlocks or sour faces; and certainly no obligation
to purchase. While vacation ownership works for
some families, it doesn't for others. Participating resorts
realize this and keep in mind that while you may not make a
purchase, you will be a positive (or negative) voice in the
community.
Do I get a free toaster?
Not only does your group receive up to $125
per qualified presentation, each participant will receive some
pretty great participation gift. Examples include:
- Golf packages
- Dining certificates
- An overnight resort get-a-way
- 10 Harkins Movie Passes
- San Diego family vacation
Are there any obligations to purchase?
There are no obligations to purchase, but we
do ask that you come with an open mind to make the most of your
resort experience. Remember, this is meant to be fun!
Can I attend when I want?
Depending
on availability, participating resorts offer day and evening
tours. However, all presentations are scheduled individually,
meaning you may not attend as a group or with another couple.
If you come as a group or travel with another couple, you will
be credited for only one tour. To learn more, please visit our
Participating
Resorts.
