Simple, effective fundaising

A Simple Fundraiser is an ALTERNATIVE means to raise funds. It is designed to consolidate your group’s efforts and eliminate time consuming fundraisers that take more effort than the benefits received. If you are wary of standard fundraisers that result in a freezer full of cookie dough, then let us show you how to make your next fundraiser simple!

HOW DOES IT WORK?

A Simple Fundraiser is funded through the generous support of our participating vacation ownership resorts. In lieu of spending marketing dollars on TV and radio, participating resorts supplement our fund in support of youth and community organizations throughout Arizona, Idaho, Oregon and Washington. As an alternative to cookie dough and car washes, individuals and/or couples interested in vacationing attend a 90-minute resort sales presentation. For each qualified presentation, your organization receives $100 (Plus a $25 NABCA Bonus*). It is that simple.

What is a Qualified Presentation?

Contributing resorts have minimum participation qualifications ranging from household income to home ownership. In order to participate, participants find the resort that best suits their needs and qualifications. You can learn more about participating resorts here.

Is A Simple Fundraiser right for your group?

While simple in nature, you still need the support of your organization. Some people would rather wash cars on a weekend than attend a sales presentation. That’s okay - A Simple Fundraiser is not for everyone. However, for those truly interested in learning about the vacation industry, it is the MOST EFFECTIVE channel to raise recurring income.

Are there any obligation to purchase?

There are no obligations to purchase, but we do ask that individuals come with an open mind to make the most of your experience.

What’s the catch?

Companies across the country are realizing the benefits of Community Outreach programs. By supporting A Simple Fundraiser, participating resorts are merely diverting money that would have otherwise been spent on television, radio or print advertising … and putting it to much better use by contributing to organizations throughout their community.

As an alternative marketing strategy, resorts are hoping to talk with those people who “might” be interested in vacation ownership. If they see tour after tour attend with a negative attitude, resorts will no longer fund this program and we will loose a very valuable funding channel.

Participating resorts

Participating resorts are some of the finest in the country and offer the best travel solutions for you and your family. Their high standard of professionalism and business integrity make them the perfect Partners in Education. Sales presentations are low key and informative; they last approximately 90-minutes, and WE GUARANTEE YOU WILL BE PLEASANTLY SURPRISED!

The only thing we ask is to help us reduce the “negative tour”. As an alternative marketing strategy, participating resorts would like to talk to a portion of parents who have interest in vacationing. If the majority comes in with a get-me-out-ofhere attitude, resorts will reduce and/or eliminate their funding. No body wants that.

Can our group attend together?

Due to sheer numbers, presentation showrooms can not accommodate group tours. After registration, participants will be contacted and scheduled individually.

How much can our group raise?

At $100 (Plus a $25 NABCA Bonus*) per qualified tour, the amount raised in only restricted by the support your group.

$125 PER TOUR

*The additional $25 per tour bonus is applicable for NABCA registered groups and ends December 18th, 2007. All tours looking to receive the additional $25 must complete their tour by December 18th, 2007. Any tour completed after will receive $100.

How do we get paid?

All payments are made on a 30-day cycle. Your organization will be paid around the middle of each month, from the previous month’s activity. You will also receive a detailed list of everyone who has registered and attended a presentation … making your job a snap! IMPORTANT: Your group must submit a W-9 before resorts can make payment. Please make sure to ask one of our staff members for a blank form.

Participation incentives

Besides earning $100 (Plus a $25 NABCA Bonus*), each qualified tour will walk away with a very cool participation incentive. Incentives vary by resort, but the idea is to offer participants something for their time and effort. What other fundraiser does that?

How does our group register?

You can register your group online by clicking this link, by contacting your NABCA Club Advisor or by calling EFSN directly at: SW - 623.792.8604 or NW - 360.448.3380. Individuals can register online by clicking here or by calling the same numbers. After registering your group, one of our staff members will make contact regarding your custom flyer / registration forms. This form can be modified to fit your needs and goals.

Our system keeps track of everyone who registers. EFSN will provide you with weekly updates to keep track of who has AND who has not toured.

Can parents make their own appointment?

Absolutely! In fact, encouraging participants to call directly will only increase your chance for success! HOWEVER, they must first register with EFSN in order to receive credit.

Can people attend more than one sales presentation?

As part of our agreement, participants can attend only one sales presentation within a 12-month period.

Can we do a “test run” before signing our group?

Yes, we encourage it! The first step to a successful fundraiser is for someone to attend and see first hand the benefits of A Simple Fundraiser. If nothing else, you will have raised $100 for your group and received some great gifts for yourself!

How can your group raise more money?

If you are looking to raise additional income, we have a GREAT Group Referral program. For each qualified tour from a referred group, YOUR GROUP WILL RECEIVE $15. Refer ten groups that send 50 each, and your group earns an additional $7,500! You can learn more by clicking here.
